If your strategy doesn’t consider what are the key business processes and the two tricky questions:

  • “at which capabilities MUST we excel”? and
  • “who within the business OWNS and has decision rights over each core process”?

you can waste a lot of time and resources and NOT develop a strategy that will improve business performance.
